There will be even more cricket entertainment when the next season of the Celebrity Cricket League begins in February 2024.
Will the next edition of the KCC be played over more than two days with all teams playing against each other?
As 2023 began, Kannada film lovers were in for a treat as pretty much all of their favorite stars took to the field in the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup. Over two days on February 11 and 12, six teams battled it out with Dhananjaya’s Ganga Warriors taking home the trophy. And within a week, many of the best KCC players were part of the Sandalwood team of the Celebrity Cricket League and reached the semi-finals of the tournament. It was a lot of back-to-back cricket for the boys. With both tournaments returning soon, it was hoped there wouldn’t be a repeat of such hectic schedules and it turned out there would be a two-month break.
KCC Format
According to current information, the fourth edition of the KCC is scheduled to take place in mid-December. The six-team format is expected to be retained, but whether the tournament will follow the Test-style, T-20 format of four innings totaling 10 overs remains to be seen. Fans have urged him and other tournament officials to return to a regular T20 championship. The tournament allows each team to have a former international player, including Herschelle Gibbs, Tilakaratne Dilshan, Chris Gayle and Suresh Raina. Fans are eagerly awaiting news about the international players in the next edition.

Also, since the tournament only lasted two days, there was no scope for all the teams to compete against each other, something Sudeep is likely to fix. KCC could follow the World Cup format this time. Then, in February, Kiccha Sudeep will join Karnataka Bulldozers for a new season of the Celebrity Cricket League. Akhil Akkineni’s Telugu Warriors are the defending champions. The Bulldozers, who have won the tournament several times, will make a strong attempt to emerge victorious this time.
