The Sector 16 Stadium in Chandigarh will host two Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) matches. These matches will on 8th and 10th March 2024.
Navraj Hans and Puneet Singh, co-owners of the Punjab De Sher squad, together with CEO Amardeep S Reen, announced during a press conference on Tuesday that their team has been competing in CCL since 2016. Sonu Sood will captain the team, with Binnu Dhillon playing as vice-captain.
Punjab De Sher will clash with Bengal Tigers in their third league encounter on March 8, while Mumbai Heroes will play in the final league match on March 10.
The tournament will begin on February 23 in Sharjah and Final on March 17 in Visakhapatnam. Each of the eight teams has been separated into two groups. Where Bengal Tigers, Chennai Rhinos, Mumbai Heroes, and Telugu Warriors are in Group A. Punjab De Sher, Kerala Strikers, Karnataka Bulldozers, and Bhojpuri Dabanggs in Group B.
