Mumbai Heroes press conference ahead of CCL 2024 with Sohail, Bobby and more celebs

Celebrity Cricket League, which started in 2011, has risen to become India’s most popular sports and entertainment event. The previous season of Celebrity Cricket League had a remarkable combined TV and digital reach, reaching out to more than 250 million spectators nationwide.

CCL Season 10 will feature eight teams representing India’s major film industries, including Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, bringing together nearly 200 of the most followed and adored cinema personalities on a single platform for unrivaled entertainment.

The press conference of Mumbai Heroes, who play in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), was an entertaining event. It was attended by Mumbai Heroes owners Sohail Khan, Jordy Patel and Adil Jagmagia, as well as star players Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem CCL founder and Vishnu Induri.

Sohail Khan spoke at the press conference about how he and his team have changed since CCL was founded in 2011. Sohail Khan said:

“All men have become boys! It (CCL) brought us back into the sport. There is a certain fitness that we have for our work while making our films. But there are no duplicates here. So when you see us diving, running and sweating, we’re doing it ourselves. It’s a different kind of exhilaration.”

“Later we became fans of Tom Cruise and Shah Rukh Khan. But as kids, we were fans of (athletes) like Sunil Gavaskar.” – He added

Sohail Khan continued, “It (CCL) keeps you motivated and we are fortunate that we got this opportunity through Vishnu Induri sir, who expressed the desire to start the league.” I remember like Suniel Met Shetty and told him, “Anna, we have to put a team together.” We did that and it was an exhibition game that we played against the South team. That made CCL cheer.”

Sohail made it clear that CCL is very important to him and his team, “We have canceled the shoot for this month. We find excuses (not to go to the shoot) because we love it.”

Last year, Mumbai Heroes almost won the semi-finals but were defeated by Bhojpuri Dabangg’s team.

“I miss CCL. I have always loved cricket since I was a child. We play games with actors from different industries.” I agreed and I saw this coffee seriously By the way practice do it all, When I started playing, I felt that That won’t happen to me. I enjoy bowling more.” – Bobby Deol (At press conference)

“I remember the first time I walked into the stadium, I thought, ‘That’s a great friend When we watch the Indian cricket team play, we often claim: It’s only when you play that you realize how difficult the game is. You really have to practice.” – Bobby Deol further added
